Part of Hospital bill not paid

In August 2012 I was admitted to hospital for an operation. It was authorised by discovery and as per rules and regulations of Discovery everything will be paid under the hospital plan. A month after being discharged I received a bill of R700 from the hospital that I must pay R700 within 7days or I will be handed over to their lawyers. I have sent numerous e-mails to Discovery and made numerous calls to them but just no feedback from them. I am unemployed and cannot afford to phone discovery all the time.
I pay Discovery religiously without fail every month. Why have a medical aid if you must still pay in? If everything is covered under hospital plan why must I still pay this R700 seeing that Discovery is aware that I am unemployed?
This is so ridiculous and a total rip off! Where must I get R700 to pay the hospital if I am unemployed and yet I belong to a medical aid.
And on top of all, I don't even get a single phone call from them! Discovery don't even try to talk to their clients. Absolutely no client service.
