My partner and I are on discovery Key Care, Our son was due in December and a consultant at discovery informed my partner that our son will be covered for a month automatically. My son was born on the 10-12-2013 and on the 21-12-12 he had a eye infection and we had to take him to Brenthurst Clinic only to be told their lines are down so they can`t call we have to pay cash and Discovery will reimburse us so I paid R500.00. I called Discovery and a consultant informed me that I have to first add my son then send proof of payment then I will be refunded in 3 days. Due to my company contributing I 1st had to send my documents to my HR being it the festive season it took long to have the forms signed.

After having my son added on my medical aid I sent proof that I paid now I'm having difficulties getting a refund from Discovery. I spoke to Gary, Taylor Beetge (supposed to be a manager) and Tracy (Team leader) on the 14-01-12 who said ill get feedback in 48 hrs till today I haven't received neither a call or an email from her.

Can someone please listen to the call I made to your call centre and tell me if I'm going crazy or if you are just refusing to reimburse me for no reason.
