27 Days and NO RESPONSE

On the 15th on Jan 2013 I contacted Discovery as I received a notification from them that they were paying a claim on the 16th which I paid on the 14th. I was informed that they cannot stop the payment but if I send them proof of the payment I made on the 14th they will reimburse me. This was supposedly going to happen within 48 HOURS of me sending through proof of payment. Three weeks later I have heard nothing from them. So I call again, when I ask why nothing has happenend I am informed that it appears the consultant who received my email did not assign the case to anybody or something along these lines. But not to fear this consultant I am now speaking to will resolve the matter in 48 HOURS. Well guess what, it is now 120 HOURS later and still nothing. And when I phoned again I am told the consultant I spoke to last week forgot to attach my proof of payment to the email she sent when she logged the case. But do I want I new reference number and then they will try to do it again. Seriously? It is no wonder Discovery has monopolised the corporates when it comes to medical aids, surely nobody would deal with such an incompetent bunch if they had a choice.
