Gym Premium increased because of injury

About 2 and a half months ago I tore my ligaments in my right foot I was on crutches and a moon boot etc... still it is not healed and therefore I could not go to the gym cause I don't want to mess up my foot even more.

I then got an email today stating my premium will go from 80% to 50% and the new premium will be from the 31st of May 2013, this is way too short notice. So I called Discovery this morning asking them why I did not get sooner notice and they said an email was sent on the 8th of March 2013, so I went through my emails and did not find ANY email in March saying that my premium will go up.

I find it unacceptable because I was unable to go to the gym, the call centre agent I spoke to was Mandla, and he said a manager will only be able to call me back in 2 working days!!

Also what Mandla said was that if I can quickly make up 16 gym visits from today (22/05/2013) until the 31st of May I can then only stay on my 80% premium.

this needs to be fixed cause Discovery does NOT have a plan in place in case clients are sick or get injured!!
