I wish to complain about the lack of service SA's top Medical Aid Scheme has to offer.
I called on the 6th of May 2013, requesting that a broker contact me so that i can meet him/her face-to-face and get all my questions answered that i have about their packages. I am a first time medical aid 'user' and i have a lot of unanswered questions.
Firstly, when i did get a reply, the consultant who represents Discovery, called me 'dude' and when i told him what i want, he told me, "i don't work for you, so don't tell me what you want" "who do you think you are". Now i know a lot about customer service and that is no way to speak to a potential client. He then slammed the phone down in my ear. That was the closest i got to actually getting what i need. I either get told that someone will call me in the next hour, or i get told that somebody will call me before the end of the day. My first call was logged and i was told somebody will call me within 48 hours. This being on the 6th of May. I called 7 days later, being the 13th of May and again, i was promised even by a manager that i will get a call, but nothing happens.

I hope i will get a call now before i go to the media.
