Bestmed Medical Scheme
Bestmed's tie-up with Planet Fitness excludes me

I made an earlier complaint (5 Feb 2013) about Bestmed's lack of gym rebates. The Bestmed reps told me that they were introducing a Wellness Programme in May. This programme unfortunately only includes Planet Fitness which only has an extensive footprint in 2 of our 9 provinces. I reside in KZN where Planet Fitness has zero gyms and subsequently do not benefit from this arrangement. The sooner that Bestmed partners with Virgin Active, the better as they cover more of the country than any other fitness chain. I hope this happens soon or I will switch to another medical scheme.
