I submitted a claim via email but used the address for hospital claims instead of general claims. The claim did not appear on my member profile so I sent an email to the same address requesting a confirmation of receipt. This request as well as a second request was merely ignored! After phoning the call center I was advised that I had used the wrong email address.

I am really unimpressed with the lack of manners or lack of service provided by those manning the Claims Department. A simple "this is the incorrect email address" and attachment of the correct address was all that was needed. This is simple good business practise and manners to answer a query. They are after all representing Medshield!

What is even more frustrating is that they do not have a Complaints Department - you can only speak to another voice in the call center whose only response is to say "Oh, we are so sorry" and that is where it is left. Nothing changes and the same people continue to ignore email queries!!!

Medshield Claims Department would score a 0/10 for service from me - there is no service.
