Disgusting attitude from call centre

I have already emailed two complaints to Medshield and received no reply. Twice this year Medshield has failed to submit claims from me. When I phoned to ask why, I received disgusting service from a customer consultant.

The person who 'helped' me originally with my query at the call centre was called Liquid and he was awful. He made no attempt to understand me, he was surly and unhelpful, even going so far as to reprimand me for an incorrect date I had given him. He mumbled his words, put me on hold frequently, and was actually downright rude when I asked why Medshield had failed to submit 2 claims for me this year so far. He just told me to email a complaint and then hung up. I was as cordial as I could be and really resent being treated this way by someone whose salary I help to pay with my exorbitant medical aid rates.

Liquid needs to be told that he cannot treat customers this way. He is the customer service consultant and there is no reason for him to speak to people as he spoke to me.

Despite deciding to stay with Medshield after getting married, it is this kind of service and inadequacy that makes me rethink my decision to not join my husband on his Discovery medical aid
