Untruthful and distrustful

Bought 2 recliners in 2011 (Cash) (NOT the cheapest) the only reason being fabulous guarantee given to us by Mohammed 2 years on stitching, padding and leather and 5 years on the mechanism. Now the cable has snapped (2 years in) called branch to be told that no such guarantee exists I was told Mohammed had told many clients untruths, but the guarantee was only 12 months. Got hold of Mohammed at another branch and he now says I misunderstood. I am not stupid or deaf. Only 2 year guarantee. These guys do not even know their own guarantee period one says 12 and the other 24 months. HOW can they so blatantly and then say you misunderstood??? Will never purchase from Essops again and will discourage anybody from doing so as the people I have dealt with are not trustworthy or truthful. Not interested in doing business with people who cannot stand by their word.
