Guarantee... what a joke

We bought a LG 3D 46 cm tv from Makro Silverlakes in March 2013 for R8, 000.00, 1 month later the screen went all green and horrible, took it back to Makro the sent it in to get fixed. Got it back after 2 weeks. Now 2weeks ago middle November it did the same thing. We had 2 year guarantee and an extended guarantee. I refused to have it fixed again so Makro gave us voucher for the amount, but now we can get another TV but less smaller as the TV we bought originally has been discontinued (which no one told us) and to get similar one it's price is 14, 000.00 Aparrantly LG ONLY replace once you in the extended guarantee period that's 2 years later. How on earth does this work. Buying a brand new LG tv breaks twice in 10 months and must now settle for something smaller. Is this Makro or LG's problem. Please LG could you answer this.
