In November 2013 I submitted 2 photos of issues with my screen to show chronology of the issues. Calling the JOHANNESBURG call centre, I reached India - not an issue other than when I asked Dilik his location (hoping we could meet and he could view my computer for himself) he refused to tell me - not even the country!
Dell sent a technician who identified both issues but only reported back on the 2nd issue and so Dell refused to take further action claiming I had damaged my screen (a 3rd party review noted no evidence for my having caused the issue). Eventually, I landed up with Dilik (Customer Services Supervisor).
We had several phone calls because Dilik REFUSED to let me finish a sentence, even though he asked me to let him finish if I interrupted his repertoire! I understand that Dell has policies but Dilik sounded like he was reading from a script - disinterested in listening to my concerns, unwilling to address BOTH my screen's issues in CHRONOLOGICAL order (only focussing on the 2nd issue which gets Dell off the hook). When I spoke, he spoke over me and continued speaking - clearly not listening to me - and refused to give me another contact.
I'm sorry I bought Dell!!
