Inadequate Response

The response I got from Renault was pathetic to say the least. They did not even acknowledge that there is a design fault with their DCi engine or offer any form of advice on how to repair the vehicle.

There are many websites which show the known problem of engine damage when the turbo fails (Even due to normal wear and tear).

Do your homework well before deciding to buy anything powered by the Renault DCi Engine. And if you think Renault will acknowledge the design fault, think again. Aint going to happen.

They won't even offer me what its cost me to repair the vehicle (Twice) as a trade-in on another vehicle. Goes to show, that the manufacturere / dealer of the goods knows best what it's true value is.

Best bet is just stay away. They didn't even flinch when I said I would undertake an anti marketing drive.
