Renault South Africa
Bad Customer Service

Cars & Transport

The following was agreed with Renault Centurion on Monday 13th May 2013:
-That my car's engine, and the rest of the parts to each other out of the car so I can omit trailing.
-The invoice for the work done by Renault, must be submitted to the insurance so that Renault can receive their payment before I claim on my vehicle.
- A quotation for getting my car back in running condition.

I feel the following points to their poor service:
- I was not kept up to date on their progress
- Renault blamed the insurance not providing their details
- No one in the company was willing to accept ownership of the problem - not even the "Customer Care".
- Nobody could explain why an invoice could not be drawn up withing 6 working days (they eventually could on the 7th day)
- Why Renault employees only know one policy - the one they are held financial liable but the Health and Safety policies are not maintained?
- The engine is lying in the boot - No one can indicate whether the engine's parts are complete and there is no protection under the engine out.
- I have not got a quote for the repair, after 10 working days.
- I now have extra financial cost towards traveling.
