Renault South Africa
Dealer about condition of Vehicle

Cars & Transport

I was warned about buying privately and therefore purchased a pre-owned vehicle from a "reputable" Renault dealer. On collection of the vehicle the windscreen was cracked from top to bottom. I was promised the vehicle will be collected when a new windscreen arives and will be replaced. On getting home with the vehicle I noticed the tyres are in a shocking way, how does one get a Road Worthy certificate with a vehicle in this condition? no wonder there are so many fatal accidents with unroadworthy vehicles been passed as roadworthy. I was also guarenteed a full service history on the Renault, however the engine was so filthy I was unable to read the Renault Logo clearly, so therefore a guaranteed pre-owned vehicle that has not even had its full services.
I have therefore requested my trade in polo with its full service history and excellent condition back as, I at least know my history of my vehicle. Who says private buying is anymore riskier than from a Dealer!
