I own a 2010 Renault Sandero. My vehicle has been for repairs recently due to a terrible sound coming from the engine. I gladly paid for this repair and on my way home to Estcourt, I found that the sound was still clearly present. The sound is only audible when the engine is hot. The next day a representative from McCarthy Renault Pietermaritzburg had contacted me and I mentioned that the vehicle is still emitting that terrible sound. I was asked to bring the vehicle back and when I did, the dealership failed to inform me that they do not have spares after spending an entire day in Pietermaritzburg. I had taken the day off from work to get this repair done and sadly the dealership did not come to the table. I was then asked to once again pay for the repair and I believe that the dealership should be held responsible for this as they made a misdiagnosis and the fault is on their side. I eventually had to get my vehicle towed in at my own cost. The customer service at McCarthy Renault Pietermaritzburg is extremely appalling and the staff really need to learn basic social and communication skills. The service manager was extremely rude to me and she needs to be disciplined!!!
