10 December 2012 I had my car in for booked major service quoted for 3600zar. Bruma called me to say the service would be 10000 zar. written quote total over 10700.00zar! I got confirmation it was major service on the quote... both telephonically and in person. this was far beyond budget so I sought to just do the service and the other things they'd do later. They confirmed they were doing a major service, several times they confirmed. On collection they refused to explain work done commanding me to sign the papers despite my resistance. So I was charged 2530zar. knows what it was that Bruma Auto did with my car. The service warning has not gone off showing my car is still due for service. Two days later my brake callipers fell off while I was driving, and on the way home my car broke down and wouldn't move.. and to today I am without a car! I am even so speechless and frustrated. I can't believe this nonsense happens in South Africa and Bruma Auto is left free pirching as an eagle taking advantage of people just like that. I think that Bruma Auto says to customers that they have serviced a vehicle replacing parts at major service when they really havent.
