Cars & Transport

My car did not want to accelerate when i was changing the gears to no 4 &5. I kept driving for about 200 km after which it made some irritating noise when i tried to change gears, i then stopped there & then. I opened the bonnet only to find oil all over and there was smoke coming out. I towed the car to the nearest garage (in Kokstad) which later I then towed it to Bosch car services in Pinetown. Bosch told me that the car has over heated and it needs a new pulley and a fan belt. At a later stage Bosch told me that they have taken the car to Renault for some electrical testings of which the car ended up being done by Renault. Now renault told the same story about the pulley, then later it was an electrical fault which i had to pay R19 600, then they went on to say the car is up and running but require a new starter motor as its starter motor is damaged, I paid R3 145, now they telling me that the car does not start at all after putting a new starter motor and that they "think" there is a valve that has bent & they will have to do an over haul on the car which will cost me another R20 000 -R22 000.

kindly assist me, I am so confuses right now. I need to understand this
