Good day

Yesterday 11 Feb 13 i took my Golf IV to VW Princess Benoni for 75 000Km Services, i was told that it will cost me R3017 to replace control arm bushes.
i gave them a go ahead to replace, but i called another VW dealer to enquire about Arm bushes controller prices and they told me that those things cost plus/minus R 400.
I Then called Princess Benoni to ask them not to replace, but they told me that i was too late.
afternoon when i went to fetch my car i had to pay R3557.61 for the overall services and i have a service plan, the invoice indicated that they changed Brackets, both the brackets & Labour cost R 2678.83. i then requested to see the parts that were removed, they could not show me. later the services guy told me that my car does not take those brackets and it was a mistake that those brackets were on my invoice and they were going to change my invoice.
i was given a new invoice and the R3557.61 was reversed and i paid R 1820.13.
NOW MY QUESTION IS IF I WAS CHARGED R3557.61 for something that was never done, how do i know that they did the service on my car? how do i know that the R1820.13 I PAID is correct?
