I've purchased a Alpine Leather lounge from House and Home at end of June. The sales person never for once advised me that it's been sold as "voets toets", i was told of 2 years warranty. I've paid over R17000 in cash for this set. The next day my kids complained to me about a faulty back rest, upon inspection, i noticed that their was a problem with the set.
I called my sale person and reported the problem, she sent their staff to inspect the set, which they agreed to be faulty, whereby the screws were loose and falling off, House and home then collected the set, sending for repairs, which took a week, the set was returned with the same problem. The back rest has 2 brackets holding it, which has 6 holes for screws, but only 3 and 4 screws are been used. They returned the set, once again with loose brackets and missing screws. these brackets has locks to lock the back rest, which is not locking due to poor installation. I've asked the manager to return the unit, for a new set, he refuses
