I bought a TV and TV brackets (cash) at House and Home Lenasia last week by a sales consultant Billy and during the week I asked my technician to come and mount the TV on the wall but only to find that the brackets sold were incorrect in size. I texted Billy notifying him and he proposed that he would come to do it for us which I wasn't in agreement because at that point I was charged R250 for a call out for nothing.
I told Billy that I wasn't happy and requested him to collect the TV and brackets and will collect my refund, by which he told me that he spoke to his manager and was asked to come to the store.
When I got there on Saturday Billy explained to his manager Ash and a quarrel arose and at the end Ash told me that there was no way I would be refunded because it's in their policy and I asked him to see it which he declined, I asked to speak to someone higher than him and he called the regional manager whom also told me that she would not refund me back my money. I quote " why should we refund you the money because you are not happy, what must we do with the TV" stated the regional manager.
