EPC light on polo vivo

I bought a VW polo vivo six months ago brand new, 6 month down line it started to give me problems first it was the alignment, the couldn't fix it, second it started showing the EPC light I was told that there was something wrong with cylinder head, they took the whole 8 days to try to fix it, last week Friday I got the car back it was still showing the EPC light even worse the car didn't have power at all it felt like was driving a 1.1 liter car, I Called the Vw they towered the car to Pretoria, with no courtesy car. I don't understand why a six month car can have a problem with an engine. I think I should get a new engine or a new car.
