Communication and quality of Service is pathetic

Dropped my car at East Rand Motor Lab on 12 November. After more than a week I called and found out that they had not received the spares required. This in itself is a problem as the insurer clearly indicated that the vehicle may not be booked in until the parts had been received.

It took 16 days and many phone calls to get any feedback other than there was a delay that the parts had not been received yet. This was in the form of an SMS stating "Your vehicle is currently in the Stripping department on route to panelbeating" I followed up with several more unsuccessful phone calls which resulted in a second SMS "Your vehicle is currently in the Panelbeating department. Managed to reach them once in every 4 calls and then found myself transferred to someone who never answered and the phone rang until it timed out. When I did manage to receive feedback it was via SMS and vague. I was promised feedback which never came.

The vehicle has been with them for nearly a month for less than R10 000 damage!

I will be without a vehicle as of 12/12/2013 due to their poor planning and feedback.
