[URL Removed] doesn't keep promise to pay for damage

Cars & Transport

When fitting new tyres to my vehicle at home, a [URL Removed] manager, Waahid, broke my vehicle's wheel lock key, which he replaced, together with a set of new wheel locks, some time afterwards. However, when [URL Removed] staff subsequently returned to remove two of the old locks to replace with the new ones, they damaged my vehicle's alloy wheels severely using screwdrivers and a hammer. [URL Removed] said they would pay for the damage and organize loan rims for me. They sent me backwards and forwards to Martine's (a mag repair centre in Benoni), who supposedly had rims to loan while the repairs take place. Martine's didn't. I could finally arrange for transport to have the wheels repaired on 16 September 2013 (it takes three to four days), but when I sent [URL Removed] the invoice with payment details on 19 September 2013 they ignored my e-mail and follow-up e-mails. I have correspondence of all the empty promises. Please note: The date and time of incident is when I let the company know about the cost and expected date of invoice I would send them.
