Robert quoted two rear tyres for my Mercedes and to repair and refurbish the rims. The tyres came to R4827.90 ea and the rims at R1000.00 each.

I bought two tyres from my regular supplier at R5000.00 for BOTH. I took these tyres and my wheels to Robert for the repairs and fitment of the new tyres. Robert was because I did not buy his (expensive - by almost 100%!) tyres and sent the rims away to be repaired.

I collected the wheels and had them fitted to my car. 1st Time I drove the car it shuddered at around 120kph. I phoned Robert and he said it could only be the rear (new) tyres.

I took the car to Menlyn TW&T and they showed me the balancing weights catching on the brake calipers, the out of roundness of the l/rear rim. They also stripped and reposition 3 of the tyres.

I got Robert to speak to the man from TW&T Menlyn and Robert said I supplied him with 2nd hand tyres - even though the labels were still on them!!

When I phoned Robert again to get the rim guys' nr he had a no care and take it or leave attitude.
