Can they reject a claim for missing 1 installment?

Last year Aug 2012 I hit an pothole with my vehicle on the right front wheel. I register a claim with A&G and the damaged was repaired by TEC auto body repairs in Vereeniging. On Monday 25 Feb 2013 @ 21:00 when leaving friends of us on a plot the right front bolt joint broke and cause a lot of damage. So the next morning I called TEC to collect the vehicle (as for it was still under warrenty). Later that day a driver arrived and claimed that he can't tow the vehicle as for it would increase the damage. So Ernest at TEC suggested that I call A&G to send a low-bed to move the vehicle, so if there are damage due to the transportation, it will be covered. Due to the time I called the A&G call centre the next day (27 Feb 2013) and reported the incident. The vehicle was transported to TEC that same day. After the assesor inspected the vehicle at TEC they reported that the damage was not due to previous claim (accident), but it was new damage (which I still not believe as for the previous work was done on the same side - right front wheel). They rejected it due to no payment received in Feb 2013, which was deducted on 4 March 2013. Can they refuse a claim for missing an installement?
