I would like to compliment this company for their service. Like many others I logged onto HelloPeter and saw the multiitude of mostly negative comments. Being concerned for my goods (I was moving from Johannesburg to Cape Town over the Christmas period) I emailed Anlie (my person of contact at Classic Removals) and attached quite a few of the HelloPeter comments asking her whether I should be worried given all the negative opinion.

I must say that the reality was far from what I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. My goods were picked up at the specified time and it was quite tricky getting my bed and couch from the 12th floor of my apartment to street level. The people collecting my goods were patient and very helpful and I was not charged extra. The goods then I arrived a week early in Cape Town. 2 glasses were broken which I consider to be a pretty good outcome. My couch was unharmed and my major furniture items were all good. Two boxes were slightly dented bu no damage to the goods inside was done. If you pack your items well yourself and clearly mark them to be fragile then it seems they arrive at the destinatiojn in one piece.

Overall I would recommend this company.
