Last year I bought a pre-owned 2009 car from Nissan Edenvale - when I worried about the 3 yr service plan being over I was promised another year's service. Apparently this was never written down so according to Messrs Morris and Roberts this promise could not have been made and they refuse to honour it. There is no document, of course, stating that I knew the three year service plan was up and that I accepted that fact and did not want an extension. Furthermore, when offered a two year warranty I declined because I had the 1 year service and therefore this was not a value proposition. The salesman has since been let go for 'performance issues'. Essentially, a or at the least a misrepresentation has taken place - I was sold a car with a promise that it came with a 1 year service when it did not and no-one is prepared to take responsibility. In point of fact Mr Morris (Pre-Owned Manager), despite promising me a call back, obviously with something to hide had an underling contact me. When I contacted Mr Williams (Dealer Principal) to discuss the issue and make known my dismay, he hung up the phone on me. Nissan Head Office are looking into it but I suspect I'll find no joy.
