My front shock absorbers failed on Nissan Navara 3.0 dCi Double Cab within less than 1 year from purchasing the vehicle as new. Vehicle has done 34000km and doesn't carry loads. Back shock absorbers are fine. I first lodged a complaint on 9 April 2013 to Ishwar at McCarthy Nissan Gateway. He told me to take vehicle for shock test at Royal Vulcanizing. I did that and gave Ishwar a copy of the report. He then told me to report it to Nissan Customer Service as he can't help me. I did that, spoke to Lucia Pretorius at Nissan and send her a copy of test report. I told her my vehicle is dangerous to drive and that I don't have another so it must please get sorted out urgently. Today Clinton at Nissan Gateway told me Nissan does not want to replace my shock absorbers. I believe it is SHOCKING! Other vehicle manufacturers have 3 year warranty on shock absorbers.
