Nissan: Leaving the customer worse off

Cars & Transport

Wow what a disappointment. We bought a 2010 Nissan Navara 2.5 DCI 4x4 manual secondhand from Nissan East Rand Mall from a man called Brian. Paying a pretty penny for the vehicle of R 330 000. After a year and a half we decided to sell the bakkie as we no longer require a 4x4 and we are not using this vehicle to its full potential. Having serviced the vehicle only with Nissan ect. We asked the dealership if they can buy the bakkie from us? The TRADE IN value on the Bakkie is R 283 000 and what do they offer us? R 200 000? Nissan then comes with the story no they are worried about Narava's clutches (as some Navara's do give issues) so they deduct R 40 000 ect ect. Then they still need to ensure they make a profit, but the Nissan dealership we have been servicing the bakkie assured us nothing can go wrong with our clutch as it's a hydraulic clutch and not one of the ones that has been giving issues with the previous Navara's. This is a disgrace. If you look at the same model, year ect advertised for these bakkies they are going for more than the Trade in value? Will never buy Nissan again, and please don't get me started on Nissan Centurion that promised to get back to us on a test d
