Hyundai South Africa
A history of bad service!

Cars & Transport

1. I bought a 2011 Hyundai I30 1.6 in Dec 2011. During its first service at Hyundai airport, it came back with paint specks.
2. Later on I took it in for replacing of the wiring harness (wires chewed by rats); this took them well over 6 weeks for repairs. When it came back, the trip meter did not work. Apparently, some pugs were interchanged. It also came back with damage (Scratches and distortions) on some panels.
3. I took the car in with ESP OFF warning light, they found no fault. Later on, I realised that my brake lights worked intermittently, only when I brought it in with this additional problem was the brake light switch replaced. Getting the part was also a long and tiring struggle.
4. I then experienced issues with the hooter in February; to this day, it has been a struggle to have it sorted out. I have a booking today, I am not sure if it will be sorted out.
5. Currently the airbag warning light is on the display, a problem I have also reported and hoping that it will be sorted today. My biggest frustration with them is that no one takes responsibility, the service clerks blames the warranty claims department who blames the parts department who blames warehousing.
