Volkswagen
Danger to the public

Miscellaneous

I sent my car in to the VW dealership in Centurion to replace the Zenon, brake light and check out a ticking sound coming from the front of the car when driving. Warren advised me that they could not find any problem with the ticking sound and that it is the RIMs on the car that is causing it. When I got my car back, it seemed as thought they had just washed it and sent it back (with a dirty cloth because there were streak marks all over the car). The zenon light nor the brake light was replaced and I was informed that I would have to wait for parts. Why do I have to wait for parts if I am required to make a booking and wait at least a week before the car goes in.

The ticking sound became a lot worse so today I decided to jack the car up to see if I could find any faults. To my surprise, I noticed that there is a bolt missing where the wheel joins the car and all the bolts are loose. Seems like the mechanics are very unprofessional to return a car missing bolts and with untightened bolts.

I had also contacted the VW call centre on Friday and was supposed to get a response today on why I have to wait for parts. I have still not received a response
