No refund on my deposit

My husband and I flew to Ghana on the 16th of March 2013 and had to rent a car from Europcar to get to the airport. My husband went to pick up the vehicle, a Hundai I10 GL from your branch in Klerksdorp. At inspection of the car it was found that the spare wheel was damaged. No paperwork concerning this was given to us, but it was noted by the guy who inspected the car with my husband. We were told that the deposit would be paid back within a day or 2 after the vehicle was returned. At OR Tambo, the vehicle was inspected again, and we told the inspector that the spare was damaged when we picked the car up. The deposit has not yet been paid back and a couple of weeks ago they sent us an email billing us for the damaged wheel. I replied to the mail informing Torry Msimango, that we have not even received our deposit back and yet they are billing us for a wheel that was already damaged when we received the car. No response. We visited the branch in Klerksdorp trying to find out why we still have not received our deposit. To date, no response. Is this common practice to ignore your customers?
