I ordered a pizza and a two litre Coke and was told that the order came to R184.00. When I interrogated the bill I was told that I had to "hang on for the manager"which I did for some time. The manager proceeded to explain that their Head Office recently introduced a levy for R9 for "processing of orders! ". When asked why this was not disclosed to the customer and what exactly the R9 was for, the manager could not answer my questions. They simply referred to a "levy", she explained.

I have also noticed that they do not disclose exactly what the delivery fee amounts to and when they ask you whether you want to include a tip for the driver, you have no idea how much you are already paying for the delivery.

I think this practice is extremely unfair to the customer and I hope more customers out there refuse to subjected to this kind of extortion.
