Coins found in the bottom of my barrel

On Monday 25 Feb 2013, I bought a barrel of chicken, some coleslaw & mash for dinner for my entire family - in laws included! When packing away leftovers, I found a ten cent coin at the bottom of the barrel. I called the branch and spoke to the manager - her initial response was "lucky you" at finding money until I explained to her how many people have touched that money, how filthy it is and the fact that it touched the food I'd just fed my family!
She admitted that she didn't know how to deal with the incident so we agreed that she would call the area manager and get back to me within 48hours. When I heard nothing after 2 days, i called the store again only to speak to another 'manager' who knew nothing of the incident. I have since called back 3 more times with no apology offered on any one of the calls and still no contact from the area manager.

All I iactually wanted at the time was an apology as well as an assurance that all staff working with the food directly would be re-freshed about their hygiene practices but now I'm just angry at being ignored!

I've been a patron for years but no more - and I have no problem telling anyone i come across not to use them again either!
