On 24 January 2014, I bought one packet Regent street Chocolates at The Hazeldean branch. It was displayed in a barrel at the pay point queue and advertised for the price of R43.99.

At the till, I was charged R54.99. I then reported it to the manager who came to investigate. He went to the barrel and removed 2 of 4 the display prices and refunded me the difference in price.

I noticed that he wrote R54.99 on the refund slip and had me signed for that amount, but only paid out, R11.00. I now noticed that Pick a Pay advertises that they will refund you twice the difference in price in a case like this.

Are your store mangers at all aware of the procedures to follow when these things happen and why did this manager only remove two of the four price stickers on the display barrel?

It surely makes me wonder, if this was a real mistake or isn't it done on purpose!
