Ruined Valentine at Rhapsody's Bryanston

Having booked for Valentines day I received a call from Rhapsodys informing me that I could opt for the Valentines special that included a 3 course meal with no drinks for R590 for 2 people. I stated that I would like to use the regular menu and was told that was fine. Upon arrival I was told that I misunderstood and that I had to take the Valentines special which was upsetting because it was too late to go elsewhere. Both plates of food arrived cold. I then ordered a dessert from their enforced fixed menu only to find they had run out of red velvet cake despite knowing how many people had booked for the evening. I therefore paid (expensively) for a non-existant dessert thanks to the Valentines special. The couple next to us had their meal cost reversed due to it being an hour late and also cold on arrival. I was afforded no such courtesy however. In fact when I left and said I would not return, I was told that I could have used the regular menu afterall. I also did not appreciate that the manager defended himself before apologising. Not impressed!!
