Placed an internet order. They called me back and said "they don't make the one item I requested at their branch", viz. pasta salad. That is problem number one. He then said asked if they could provide something else, to which I said "no, cancel the salad, but I will keep the roll". The phone then cut off. Problem number two. It is assumed that he heard what I said, but I followed up on the delivery 1 1/2 hours later, when the food hadn't arrived. I was told that all he heard was "cancel", and then he was cut off. So he admitted to being cut off, which leads me to my next question. Now tell me, if HE WAS NOT SURE AND KNEW HE HAD BEEN CUT OFF, why was I not called back? Why should I call them back? Who is the customer here? Am I serving THEM now?!! I am livid, and starving, but will likely get my "lunch" when it is time to go home! I will not use their services again. It is not the first problem like this, and I order from these people often - including platters. I will now order my platters from Pick 'n Pay or Spar! I have also complained before, and have got nowhere!
