BAD FOOD AND DRINKS

Last night, 21/1/2014, at approximately 20:00 we visited the Ocean Basket at Eastgate, and when we walked in, I said to my husband, this place is extremely quiet a least 40 tables empty. but after our dinner I know why.

First of all, we order passion fruit and soda, and when it came, there was absolutely no bubbles or gas in the soda water, it tasted like plain water. We sent it back, and they brought new drinks, exactly the same story, no gas. We then spoke to the manager and ordered Coke light. When our food came, (hake n chips, extra calamari rings and village salad), the fish was far overdone and dry. The tomatoes in the salad was off, so I only had the rest. The table cloth was dirty and there was only one serviet on the table. Why should you have to ask for serviettes, surely its the cheapest item available in the restaurant?

It felt like they could not wait for us to leave (which was at 20:35) so that they could start cleaning up and be out of there by 21:00.

I'll make sure that I tell all my friends and family not to visit this branch ever again as the food and drinks were far below standard. I can promise you, if it carries on like this u will close soon.
