On Friday, 29 April 2013 at approximately 15:30 we arrived at Ocean Basket Montecasino. We immediately placed orders for drinks and ordered 3 fish and chips (for my friends) and I ordered the "pick of the ocean" special for R79.50. My three friends received their order in about 15-20 minutes and even after they finished their meals I still did not receive my food. We then called the manager, a lady, who apologized and just said "I am sorry, the waiter is a learner. I will bring you the food". In 3 minutes she returns with an order of "fish and chips". She did not even bother to confirm my order which made me assume she would know what the order is or go to the waiter to confirm my order. I then told her that it's not my order and she asked "will you take this one? ". I said no, I want what I ordered. She then stands there and just says "I am sorry, I know how you feel". I asked her for the bill and got up immediately and left my friends to pay for their food. I stay in Limpopo, Thabazimbi, 130km from the nearest Ocean Basket (Rustenburg) and with the long w/end I wanted to go have fresh fish from my favorite fish place... I left Ocean Basket hungry/dissatisfied/annoyed.
