Ocean Basket
Bad service, Bad food, FLIES

As a family we went to the new revamped ocean basket in Plumstead. Firstly let me just ask, what did they do with their previous staff??? The place was not busy, we were the only family in the parking lot section. The staff was more mesmerized by us and stared all the time and spoke extremely loud in their language (not a nice feeling when you eat and people watching you). The servings were immensely small (not the usual from Ocean B), the prawns were more shell than meat, and the food was cold. The waiter never bothered to ask if we like our meal, we just ate cos we had to. The flies were all over our food so we could not eat peaceful, I eventually asked them to bag mine for my dog. If I was that waiter I would ask if the food was ok as he could see i hardly ate and we did not look happy, but no interest was shown. We felt so uncomfortable with the staff watching us and the flies all over our food that we decided to have the bill and leave, a second cold drink, water or desert was not even a thought we just wanted to get out there. This is a place that will not see us soon again!! OB management should do a course on SERVICE BEYOND CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS and then train their staff.
