Die Werf
Poor booking ruined birthday party

I made a booking via e-mail (as the land line was disconnected) at 'Die Werf' for myself and my fiance for his birthday. The response I received was swift and I was informed that the booking was made. Upon arrival at 'Die Werf' we were firstly sent around as there was not one but two functions going on and nobody really knew what to do with us. We were then told to go through the back entrance in the dark where we were still not helped. Eventually a lady came and told us that we would either have to sit underneath a wooden floor with the function going on above us, or outside in the cold. No one ever informed me that there was already two fully booked functions going on the same night as my booking. This lack of communication completely spoilt my fiance's birthday which was supposed to be a very special occasion.
