Toadbury Hall Country House
Cancelling our booking on the actual day

My fiance as a Birthday treat booked a picnic at Toadbury Hall a week or 2 in advance on a Friday afternoon, at about 10 am he got a phone call to say that they haven't realized up till now that they had a function on and would not be able to cater for us on that day. Our booking was for 12pm. We got promised a voucher for our inconvenience, still waiting for formal apology or the voucher. Surely when taking a booking you should know if you can cater for us. Really disgusted by their professionalism. We were left with no ideas for my Birthday treat and ended up going to just a normal restaurant as we didn't have time to look for something else.
