Maxi's
Owner/Manager gives religion preference

My fiance and I decided to have lunch at the new maxis in Overport city and this turned out to be the worst decision we had made. Upon arrival we had to wait 15-20 min before someone decided to hand us menus. A bit annoyed by this we decided to wait a few more minutes for assistance however this too did not happen. After some time the owner of the restaurant approached us with the an irritated look and stood infront of us with an order book. No greeting, no apologies. Being annoyed even more we placed an order which then took almost 45 minutes to prepare. Light meal?? 45 minutes??? As we were having our meal another couple walked in and requested to be seated in our place due to religious beliefs. The owner, being of the same religion, stood behind us and advised the couple that it would not be an issue and they should come through. My fiance and I are highly disgusted by this unprofessional mannerism. Maxis is a restaurant that we will never set foot again.
