Swiped Transactions Come Off Account Days Late

This is regarding my mothers account. I tried to call the customer care number and got through to Damien. My mother doesn't understand most of the stuff that goes on with technology so I help her out. I do the same with her cell phone etc. I gave the phone to my mother to verify herself and then allow me to sort out her problem as I have done before. According to Damien I need power of attorney. Pure BS! But I don't blame him for not wanting to speak to me after the mood FNB has put me in.

To the point. Transactions swiped are only coming off the account up to 6/7 days later. This makes managing the account IMPOSSIBLE. I have my theories and opinions which I will share with the unfortunate person who handles this complaint. I had the same problem on my account and complained about it on Hellopeter some time back. It was rectified by making every transaction dial out. The same must be done on this account. This is a debit card so why every transaction isn't being debited upon each swipe is a mystery. I wonder who is saving on communication costs. It seems every decision by FNB these days is geared towards the benefit of the bank.
