My debit card transactions does not go through. I visited the branch to have my card sorted, and the consultant informed me that all savings accounts are now access accounts and I should choose cheque account when doing a point of sale transaction, I tried this at several retailers and the card was still declined even though there is money in my account.
I then again went to a branch and had my card replaced, it worked for one day and the next day it was yet again declined. I went to the branch again today and the consultant told me the bank is aware of the problem but does not know how to resolve it.
I have a debit card with money in my account, but can't swipe my card for transactions and can only draw cash.
This is costing more money, frustrations and poses a security risk! We are all struggling to make ends meet, and the ridiculous and unnecessary costs is really making a dent in our budget, and I have to carry the costs, for a problem that is not MY fault! When will this be resolved?
What happened to SIMPLER BETTER FASTER if the bank does not even know how to resolve problems on their account holders accounts?
