NO ADVANCED WARNING OF EARLY DEBIT OF HOME LOAN

Business & Finance

Currently my home loan is set to go off on the last day of each month. Recently we have had some medical issues and shortage of funds, but I have never missed a home loan payment at all!

Expecting my debit order to go off on the 31st of march or a date after this as no advanced warning of an early deduction was given.

The debit order was done on the 28/3/2013 which I never agreed on.

By the 30/3/2013 I had enough funds to manage the debit order and FNB redebited my account on the 2/4/2013.

I have received a letter dated the 04/04/2013 saying that my account is in arrears nad payment must be made or legal action will be taken.

Firstly- Why wasn't I contacted and informed of an early debit in a manner in which I can opt in for the debit.
Secondly- Why was a letter sent dated the 4/4/2013 after you have received the funds on the 2/4/2013.

I expect a call from the Senior Manager as signed on this letter, the call is not to come from a private number or call centre either.

If no response as requested then I will contact the CEO.

I can also be contacted on my e-mail address.
