Change of debit order date
- 10-03-2013
- 27
I have taken out a loan, my first premium is due in Oct 2013. I received a sms stating that my debit order date is 26 Oct 2013 which I queried. I told them with application the debit order must be for the last day of the month. They requested I submit letter from my HR department stating payday. This was done and I explained again that we get our money 2 to 3 days before month end but that it happened in the past that the date was later, that is why I request that the debit order date is changed to the last day of the month to prevent any problems in the deduction of my premium.
I phoned in again today and was told the debit order date is now set for 29 October 2013. FNB this is not what I requested and would like to ensure that there will be money in my account when debit order is submitted. I need the debit order date to be changed to the last day of each month this means either 30 or 31st day of applicable month.
I am trying to be a responsible payer, but you are preventing this by not doing as asked. Who is going to pay any fees if the unthinkable happens and my pay is transferred a day late, because you refuse or ignore my request. This need to rectified immediately
