Good Day,

After being in an accident which wasn't my fault, I begrudgingly filed a claim with DialDirect. After getting quotes from reputable panel beaters, Dial Direct told me which one to use and I immediately booked my car in for repairs.
However, a month has passed and they haven't TOUCHED my car! Now DialDirect is refusing to extend my car hire, and expect me to rent my OWN car for however long it takes these people to fix mine.

I know of 2 reputable workshops that could have repaired my car by now, but I have been forced by DialDirect to use a workshop which has taken a month to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

During a claim is when I expect to be treated the best by my insurance company, but this could not be further from the truth. I have also been told that I have somehow become 'high risk', and my premium has been increased from R800 to R1300!! This despite a decline in my car's value over the last year, as well as a stagnant exchange rate (which is unimportant as the parts for my car are made in South Africa!)

DialDirect needs to step up to the plate and help me to solve my problem. I have cheaper quotes with other insurance companies and have lost faith in DialDirect.
