Standard Bank Branch consultants make empty promises. I had opened a new account, they completely messed me and my husbands profiles up which resulted in our accounts being blocked and to date we are still waiting for new cards, it has now been 2 months, what pathetic service! The many consultants we have dealt with promised to give us a call to update us, to date we have not received 1 phone call! I have been with this bank for just over 6 years and I am beginning to regret it with the inconvenience and nightmare that this bank has caused me! The service is slow, pathetic and the branch consultants show no work ethic, as they to your face and sit back and do nothing about the problems they caused the customers and the inconvenience, to top it all, it is always at the cost of the customer, never the cost of the bank!!!
