Inefficient and illogical

I find it very difficult to understand how I am unable to obtain proof of residence from Absa Bank when they own my house and deduct the bond from my bank account each month. When I ask for proof of residence, firstly my house address is not listed on the system. When I pursued this and argued how can this be when YOU actually own it, they found the address. However because the house was bought in mine and my sister's name I now have to prove to Absa that I live at my house. I was told that I need to obtain an affidavit from my sister to say that I live at the house that is in my name and from whose bank account they actually deduct the bond. REALLY. Secondly, bank statements older than 3 months. I needed May and June 2013. I ask at enquiries and she responds "that's not possible, you're too late". When I argued, well how have I done this in the past when you print them and then charge me an extortionate fee to print 2 pieces of paper that takes you two minutes to do, she replied that I need to give notice and they will be done in 48 hours. I asked her if this was new? She said no but only when they are busy (nobody behind me in queue). She eventually printed them. Such a mission
